Chris Mackay provides exercise, nutrition and lifestyle coaching in and around the Harrogate area. He creates bespoke programmes to suit individuals needs, which are fun, rewarding and most of all, effective, with many happy clients to date.

There is more to fat loss and becoming fit and healthy than the ‘eat less, move more’ approach. Chris believes that the journey is as important as the destination. If the exercise and nutrition programme you are doing is not enjoyable, like many faddy diets, the gains or losses are not sustainable and will leave you feeling tired and frustrated.

With over 8  years experience, Chris will inspire, motivate and help you find your ‘why’. This will make the process of changing your body and lifestyle easier, more enjoyable and help maintain your success longer.


Chris is currently based at private personal training only studio in the centre of Harrogate. This is a purely functional no frills gym only used by Chris and a handful of other personal trainers.

Or if you prefer, Chris can come to you so you can workout in the comfort of your own home or in an outdoor environment.


Chris has worked as a health and fitness coach at gyms, outdoor boot camps, women-only weight loss groups and has conducted personal training sessions for the last 8 years.

After attending specialist training courses with the UK’s leading health and fitness coach Dax Moy, Chris ensures his approach and techniques are the most advanced and effective in the industry.
